South Summit Dispatch Center
About Our Organization
South Summit Dispatch provides 24/7 consolidated emergency communications for southern Summit County, Ohio — serving five communities through one professional dispatch center.
Our History
South Summit Dispatch is operated by the South Summit Council of Governments (SSCOG), a collaborative partnership between the City of Green and the City of New Franklin. The consolidated dispatch model was established to deliver more efficient, professional emergency communications across southern Summit County — bringing multiple jurisdictions under one roof with shared resources and consistent standards.
Today, South Summit Dispatch provides police, fire, and EMS dispatch services for five member communities around the clock, 365 days a year.
